In most cases, yes, we can prevent points from being assessed by negotiating with the prosecutor.

If I plead guilty to a moving violation and take the points, is that cheaper than hiring a lawyer and avoiding the points?
Answer:
It is usually cheaper in the short term, but risky as well. Your short-term savings may be more than swallowed by increased insurance premiums. Furthermore, taking the points on your record may put you on the road to a suspension or revocation of your driving privileges. You may be in a future situation facing unavoidable points that are added to prior points that could have been avoided. This may lead to an impediment of a new job opportunity. Why gamble!

Our legal fees are competitive as most of our clients are prior clients and friends and family of clients. Fees depend upon multiple issues including the jurisdiction of the charge, the level of infraction or violation and other issues. We can almost always quote prices in our first contact.

If I hire a lawyer, can I resolve the ticket without getting points, going to my lawyer’s office or going to Court.
Answer:
In most cases, yes, but this requires some simple diligence on your part in acting promptly in processing your infraction, attorneys’ fees, court fines and costs as we direct. A great majority of our clients are successful in these regards and do not have to appear in court or come to our office.
