These retailers are negligent in their polocies and procedures as well as in the design of the changing rooms. We have recently filed suit in the United Stated District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri against Backpage.com and Village Voice Media Holdings for allegedly aiding and abetting the sexual trafficking of children on the internet.. Click on the above links of the page to follow this story. If you are aware of any such victims please ask their adult representative to contact us. We would be happy to investigate their possible case. The more pressure we can put on these facilitators the quicker we can push these corporations out of business. If you are unaware of the problems, hardships and evil that websites such as this one has caused with their adult ad section, see the attorneys general letter to Backpage's attorney asking the website owner to stop this predatory practice. Internet prostitution facilitation on the internet involves a significant number of minor children, and this fact is acknowledged by almost every law enforcement agency involved in the fight against child sex trafficking, the FBI and others as well. We think that the internet should be healthy and be protected by the First Amendment, but the First Amendment does not protect the sex trafficking of minor children.

If we prevail, this will be the first case ever to win a motion to dismiss overcoming the granting of immunity based upon 47 USC 230, to these websites that profit from the misery of sex trafficking. This will open the doors and make the Craigslists and the Backpages of the world liable for the damages that they are fomenting on the internet.

We were involved in the successful defense of the tow truck driver who was sued by the family of St Louis Cardinal’s pitcher Josh Hancock after he was killed when he ran into the back of the tow truck while intoxicated. Our strategy, which was closely followed by the local and national media, caused the lawsuit to be dismissed and the claims discharged by the Hancock Family.  This case was the subject of national and local news media coverage. Although we attacked the case as frivolous, in radio interviews, Kmox Interview of June 20, 2007, Mr. Pedroli explained how this case should not reflect upon other legitimate cases in the civil system.  A settlement was reached in the Joshua Hancock civil suit (exclusive St. Louis Post-Dispatch). The tow truck driver received a settlement for his injuries for the negligence of Hancock.

Several of our cases have garnered media coverage including an assault settlement against an international celebrity singer (AP) ; the only wrongful death verdict against a University City Police Officer for excessive force; a wrongful death verdict against the City of St. Louis for negligent traffic engineering of the intersection of Lindell Blvd and Park Ave. which involved the largest known verdict at the time for a person over the age of 70; cases against H & R Block for abuse of process when they wrongfully sued, claiming internet hacking of their website without evidence (Federal Court dismissed their cases holding that there was no such evidence; cases against a local hotel, Henry The IIX, for multiple drowning deaths in its swimming pool; and a judgment against the Missouri Department of Transportation for a dangerously designed entrance ramp onto I-270 from Dunn Road. We have been interviewed on television news and various local radio programs about various cases throughout the years including other civil rights and sex discrimination cases. Mr. Pedroli was recently featured on Fox2 News regarding his cases against City Museum. Also a story ran in the local media on our case regarding a dangerous road in DeSoto, Missouri involving a 50 foot cliff next to 2nd Street that is still not guarded.
