An example of such a situation occurs when you are in a motor vehicle accident while on the job or sustain an injury from a defectively manufactured machine or equipment. We believe that the same law firm should handle the workers’ compensation claim and the third party claim if at all reasonable. Workers’ compensation only firms may refer you to a separate law firm for such a case.
