He understands what is important to the working middle class and poor.

He passed the Missouri and Illinois State Bar Examinations in succession without failure.  Initially, he became an associate attorney for a large St. Louis civil (insurance) defense law firm which defended corporations, insurance companies, physicians, hospitals and individual insureds who were involved in civil litigation.  He learned insurance defense litigation while working for well known insurance defense attorneys.  He attending a civil defense trial academy.  He acted as lead and associate counsel in lawsuits on behalf of many national and international insurance companies and their insured’s.

This position gave him knowledge and insight about how insurance companies operate and how their adjusters think.  He uses this insight in representing people against insurance companies and their insured’s, including cases involving automobile accidents, product liability, medical malpractice, premise liability, property damage cases and various other injury claims.

In 1988, Mr. Pedroli, Jr.  went into private practice,  while continuing to represent several insurance companies.   This allow him to pursue his objective of representing consumers and ordinary folks who, through no fault of their own were hurt. These people were up against powerful interests that understood the system and influenced the process and the law with their power and money. Mr. Pedroli, Jr.’s  firm progressed to become a law firm that now exclusively represents people against insurance interests, hospitals, doctors, corporations and individuals that have insurance coverage for their wrongful conduct, and they no longer represent any insurance companies and have not done so for  over twenty years.

Many cases and verdicts have been covered in the local newspaper and covered by the AP.  He has appeared in newscasts on numerous occasions on firm cases and also as a local expert on civil liability.  The firm has been involved in claims that have changed the law in the State of Missouri and Illinois.  His cases have made new law for the travel industry relating to the duties of travel agents and the class of persons who may recover under a liability homeowner’s policy of insurance.  He have represented many clients against physicians and hospitals for bariatric (weight loss) surgery, cholecystectomies (gall bladder removal), birthing injuries, geriatric injuries, nursing home claims and various other types of medical negligence cases.

He has settled multiple claims with present values in excess of $1,000,000.  He has settled several claims with expected payout’s of over $5,000,000.00 and one with an expected payout of over $12,000,000. He had the largest recorded verdict in a wrongful death case in the St. Louis metropolitan area for the death of a retired person over the age of 70 at that time (Unknown if case still is record).  He had the largest medical malpractice settlement for 2007, ($4.5 Million) and this case was well over two times larger than the next highest reported settlement. He has completed another multimillion dollar settlement in 2016 in a medical malpractice case. No case is too big or small and the firm still handles and tries all classes and types of personal injury and worker’s compensation cases.  See the cases contained in the prior experiences section of this site.

Mr. Pedroli, Jr. believes that trial lawyers are the advocates for “the people” who are the victims of insurance companies and large corporations.  The working men and women have little strength or influence in Washington, Springfield, Illinois,  or Jefferson City, Missouri.  The Insurance Industry certainly does have a very powerful lobby groups. Mr. Pedroli’s continuing driving desire is to help level the playing field for the underdog against the institutions, insurance companies and large corporations of the world.

Mr Pedroli, Jr. is married to his wife of  over 37 years, Kimberly, and they have three children and three, going on four and counting, grandchildren.
